abcslayer, you said the e680 lacks the RF chip that supports EDGE, does that mean the e680i has it? Because some people with e680i have noticed EDGE type speeds in EDGE coverage areas when testing it out...

The same for e680i (it is not different with e680). That's what I've seen in the service manual.
