fbVNCserver port

I took the fbVNCserver source from dingux and compiled it for A1200/E6.

The server is running fine but the visual input got by the default VNC viewer of Ubuntu doesn't look good at all. (screenshot attached - using ubuntu jaunty).

The phone vnc server output:

If it was a compiling error I might've fixed it but this is something else. I suppose it's got something to do with the ignored encoding types or something.

I've attached the binary so feel free to test it. Maybe it will work fine for you or you'll figure out the problem.




EDIT:
I might have done a stupid thread since the forum gave this as a similar thread... It might be already done but unfotunately I don't have time right now to test that..
I even posted there about a year ago and I don't remember it.


EDIT 2:
Yes it's the same thing as this. The problem being that 18bpp screens are not supported by fbVNCserver.

I found another source code modified by motorola for android devices. They implemented some rescaling, changed some rfbencoding, add keyboard support for patched android kernel and file transfer. Could be worth a try.
