    So no Symbian no matter what?

    I had posted this topic on the E680 section - I shouldn't have, as it still doesn't have any replies to it! My bad!!

    well, also opie has full source availiable, and Symbian does not.

    In my opinion, symbian is and obsolete system for todays standards. Does anybody tried to code something in Symbian OS?, its very unpleasant. The system runs with several limitations that were ok for early 90's but that are obsolete now

    The only advantages are that Symbian has a huge amount of software availiabe and a good bunch of developers

    surely I will preffer to stay with linux OS
