Is there any way to develop program to edit word excel PP docs?
That will be really amazing to get it working on Linux devcie.

Wish it was that easy....tried porting a Java app that could edit xls files to the phone....does not work...phone hangs up becoz there is not enough processing memory to run such large appz...

Use OPIE to edit doc and xls files

I can't understand why it can run on Nokia 6600 which is much slower from our E680i ?? I used to have Nokia N70 which was slowest smartphone in my life and that one also has Office wih word xls and Powerpint alos Acrobat Reader...

Well, I do not know much about Nokia phones, but I guess the office program you are talking about is particularly designed for mobiles and not just a recompilation of a desktop app like oo.
