It seems frozen (i added my sdhc to fstab, i use now the latest autobuilds , i guess it's just indexing the 8 gig SDHC?

MediaPlayer bugged once " terminated..."
now Media Player says: error, "the system is not configured to handle this request."
And phone is "frozen" ...
Is this what is reported usually, (slowlyness at first boots ) ?

It's not possible to patch the a1200 EZX kernel? qtopia still in early development stage, and few apps are working there... at least with ext2/ext3 suport from donga's Modules will work with ezx o.s ?

It seems qtopia Muromec find the good kernel sources for A1200, heh yes i hope for his health he got them from moto and didn't wrote everything form vanilla 2.4.20 !!
I'm still waitng for motorola to realeases better sources for A910... (for different reasons, sdhc has no sense on A910, the spi system on witch the reader is wired is too slow...anyway)
E6 users also don't have the kernel sources...

ext2 or ext3 support should be supported on qtopia, i never tested tho.
(by the way, this should be more modules than libs...i.e. the ext2.o file should be ext2 _module_ )
Strange thing, on my fw, there is no modules... O_o ? But i guess it's built in...Or it's this sdhc kernel...?

Yes.. module, my mistake, what i was tring to say is for a1200 ezx montavista kernel, not for qtopia kernel.. for watching loaded modules, try lsmod.

No problem! What qtopia add on the kernel is a little bit documented on the blog moto-ezx blog
And yes, they are using the montavista/moto kernel, they think OpenEZX is for building space ships or so... (i would say they have difficulties because the code base is "corrupted" , i don't know if it's english as well ... i like this experience, even if would enjoy a better communication between all ezx devs... but that's another matter/discussion )

Well, as far as i know OpenEZX has never been used on spaceships. Only on soccer playing robots and miniature airplanes.

yes it is. patch is in the first post.

our kernel is based on ezx kernel from a1200 without selinux, with bluez, mux_cli and gprsv inkernel and changed mtd tables. it`s all.

also look at a1600 sources - there is a lot of bugfixes and better sdhc implemetation.
