well it seems there are a couple of different development options, and a lot has been done in terms of ezx-apps; but for me i know its good to have, and all starts with, a good cross-compiler,(see what you've started
)
for detailed stuff on what's been tested compiler-wise you might want to seach through the mailing list archives at open-ezx.org; there they are really focusing on some serious development issues including cross-compiling options (float-stuff and 3.X gcc stuff), 2.6 kernel porting, reverse engineering native ezx lib calls, hardware (e.g. usb-hosting), etc.
