EZX structure basic question...

Hello people... I was already engaged in building a guide like this and I need the moderator's help in making it an entry in WIKI section maybe.

I sent PM to many developers, but only Borman responded to help. I told him I need to get him e-interviewed with all the questions I have in mind.

I am a perfect newbie. I know c, c++ to a good extent and have experience using libraries in windows also once I developed tetris game in Ubuntu linux with SDL.

But I have no clue how to get started with EZX development. I downloaded the crosstool chain from many posts and the guide by Donga.

If moderator can request the developers to help the newbies, then I think we will have a huge number of new EZX developers (including me) !!

Also I saw there was an app called IPhoneSMS which changes the phone's default sms keyboard... That was cool. I had that idea in mind long ago. Good that someone has already made it.

If someone who knows russian can interact will folks at motofans.ru then we can get amazing amount of knowledge about this.

BTW Borman is still busy with some other work. I am trying to Chat with him everyday. Will post the details I collect from him soon...

Before that I guess we the newbies need to prepare a list of questions that we have in mind to be ready to collect info.

A Thread can be started, or a wiki perhaps.. I donno

Moreover we can help reverse engineer get access to bluetooth, network, call, voice etc API's in E6

On E6, Right now only the framebuffer, the touch screen and Disk I/O can be performed I guess. I just assumed from the emulators like ScummVM, as it has touchscreen, save/load, graphics

If done, we can start having fast multiplayer games and internet apps in our phones.

Yes, of course we can help some devs with testing, I personnaly and because I'm very new here focus my tests on openezx (OK,without helping too much, much more disturbing the devs than anything else sorry, but hey! that's perhaps coming...)
I did test less on ezx softs, because I only use sometimes XMMS, A GREAT SOFTWARE but it's already very functionnal, the quasi-opposite of OpenEzx's media player it only lacks a clear review and a real download place with plugins etc... organized a little bit more.


My phone and linux are my 2 hobbies so I want to help you in this.
