Default Port a Voice Recorder program from Linux to A1200 (Help)

I need help from developers (Blackhawk or Donga) to port this program from Linux to Motorola A1200.

It is a recorder that captures audio from the Mixer.

URL:
http://software.jodda.de/record.html

Attached is the source code:

*There is a similar for Symbian phones that automatically records ALL incoming calls but without the BEEP alert (security BEEP) for the other side. If possible, this will be GREAT!!

Any help??

I need URGENTLY to record incoming calls without the beep.
It is extremely important for me. Hope any developer could port this program or any new one similar to voicenote but without that BEEEEPPP /10 seconds.

We need a 3rd party application to record audio from the mixer.
Voicenote seems to have a built-in security alert that when there is an incoming call, and there is a register value, it activates a BEEP each 10 seconds.

I try to edit the firmware and search for the beep.wav sound, but unfortunately, i could not locate the correct file.

So, the easy solution is replacing the original voicenote application to a new one that is BEEP FREE.

Hope any russian or Donga/Blackhawk could help me.

Hello,
I found an mp3 encoder library wich is perhaps usefull...
SourceForge.net: Shine Fixed-pt MP3 Encoder Library

OK, it's not a quick solution... But at least a multimedia app can have
the mp3 option easily...

Oh, and I've read a big thread here, about beep suppression, and they conclude the beep was encoded on the binary of the recording program and nobody could find it with disassembling the binary.... (just in case somebody was searching... )

hehehe I thought the thread was started in august...

@sabrod:

Shine is already compiled for EZX, but it is useless due to the low CPU speed to compress in realtime in MP3 codec.

Concerning the BEEP, check my post. The beep is not generated by the recorder tool, it is done internally. We have decompile all binaries and we have found the process. Unfortunately, we are still testing the jump option to bypass it. It is a second channel and the sound is a sine wav, generated in a low hardware level.

We are approaching our goal, but it is difficult to localte exactly the code. Check the sources in my post.

Ok, thanks for this interesting response Droopy.
Yes, of course I shine was for EZX, because of that, and I perhaps misunderstood your first post, I tought you'd have had less pain to use this code.
But it seems you don't fear pain ...

I'll take a look.
