Hello,

There is going to be a MOTODEV summit held in the town where I live, Bangalore, India.

Click the linky http://developer.motorola.com/events...=EV-021-032008

I will most probably be attending the 1st type of program in the itenary. If any of you want me attend any particular programme please inform me in this post. Also if you have any questions you would like me to ask the moto developers post them here .

If anybody else has plans of attending it will be cool if we can meet up.

one more thing, before i forget about it

if i see the new productline from motorola,
it looks for me that they have a new pony called MotoMagx.
it looks for me that they want to kill EZX.
i think it is a good starting point to give some of the QT-sources
to the public.
there are things we will never see, like:
RealPlayer
Opera
Picsel
but other QT-snipplets will be very helpful (not only to fix their bugs).

MotoMAGIX = LJ
EZX being killed is a good thing imo, it would be stupid to release a mass market phone with a UI from the early 2000 when newer products have more eyecandy and is more fingerfriendly. Also utilizing the 2.4 kernel is also not a very good move as SDHC is not supported as far as I know. Nowadays SDHC is common in even low end SE non smartphones.

WIll keep you informed on what happens at MotoMAGIX dev summit. But I dont think anything big as the SDK was supposed to be out last December
