Well..
There is a driver inf in Linux kernel documentation (at Documentation/usb/linux.inf) which can be used to connect a windows (XP) computer to another computer running RNDIS g_ether gadget driver (e.g. your phone!!!). The connection speed is shown as ~425 Mbps. My device was not capable of actually transferring at such a speed, but throughput was much better than Belcarra USB-LAN driver which stood around 8Mbps.
Those who use Belcarra to connect their EZX to computer might want to give it a shot
