Is it possible to write a midlet which retrievs the time from a time server and adjusts the phone time? Or is there no way for a midlet to change the phone's time?

I downloaded the .rar from http://www.mediafire.com/?3zjyilxokwi and unpacked it. I got a .mpkg and copied it into my phone A1200. I clicked on it, the phone said "installing", then "invalid package".

it is a tar.gz
i don't know how packages are made on A1200.
maybe a simple repackaging is needed.
it works on my A780.
this program is from epinter, i think he can be a help on porting it to A1200.
Try just to rename it to *.pkg, NOT *.mpkg
AGING HIPPIE: ....Whoa! Man, you just ran through a big pile of dogshit!
FORREST: It happens
AGING HIPPIE: What? Shit?
FORREST: Sometimes.
"Shit Happens."
The funny thing is: I did not modify my Ming. When I click on an .mpkg file, the phone starts installing. My firmware is .46P
But maybe it needs other .mpkg files than the modified mings??
done for A1200/E6:
