There is no easier solution if you don't have the crypto algorithms of openssl already implemented in integer math. If you wanna use floating point with other things you should really consider patching and rebuilding the toolchain.
Anyone successfully compiled and used OpenSSL on the A780/E680 ?
I need it for OpenSSH and seem to have trouble with fp. Do I have to rebuild the entire toolchain with softfloat, or is there an easier solution ?

Until I figure out whats wrong with softfloat in my toolchain, does anyone have a pre-compiled libcrypto that works on the phone ?
Guys, there is an openssl distribution in Download->E680i/A780 but it looks like a source codes to me. Can someone look at it and say if it can be compiled and used on our phones?

MkEzx has an "openssl" package, it compiles and works just fine (for instance openvpn uses it).
http://www.mkezx.org/ - MkEzx build framework
OK, but can it be used with built-in browser? In the note for this openssl distribution there is info that it can be used with Opera, just need to replace something.

Have firmware preinstalled VPN client from Certicom. Can extract it to mpkg if someone wants it.
