Well, you can keep it for playing with OpenEZX
And if you really do not want it you can consider donating it (or selling with a hard discount) to OpenEZX developers.

I knew this was going to happen and after stating months ago if they don't release an sdk by late september, I'm going to sell my E6.

I've been a moto "hacker" since the V300 was released and quite frankly, I'm tired of spending hours and hours, hex editing, re-compiling/de-compiliing flashes, etc.

Sorry just a rant, as you can see I'm a little upset:S. Anyways, look for an E6 soon in the buy/sell section.

To be honest, I don't mind. My Moto ROKR E6 has been absolutely fantastic. The things that people have done with it is just mind-boggling. I thanks each and everyone of the developers that have contributed to the EZX community. I'll be keeping my E6 for another few years. Frankly, theres no point of getting an N95 when you know it will be replaced by something much better in a few weeks time.

its sad that motorola does not bring out an SDK for EZX phones but why just sell it? we have some nice apps thanks to the hackers and developers who did hard work on them...

these EZX phones are one of the coolest smal devices on the planet because they are quite stable(much more than windows and symbian) and easy to use... i will buy an E7 if it come out next year... hopefully motorola will have a SDK for it, if not it will get hacked like every other moto phone..

i m not a motorola fan and never had another moto phone, but these linux(EZX) phones are quite good... even the E7 has no EZX anymore it will have another (better/nicer?) UI maybe with an SDK...

motorola say "bys bye" to EZX and "hello" to the Trolltechs Qtopia (with SDK) for their future smartphones.
