NOT possible to modify / delete files in the E6 with telnet

Hi , this havent been covered anywhere

I am curious why we are not able to

Cant we use another way and set ourself as Root admin or something ?


My principa l question is why can t we modify the content of the phone via telent/ samba , when we can on other Linux phone , thx in advance

I don't know much about samba. but in my experience samba have a permission like in windows or normal linux system. file permission that can set to user who login to system (linux) through samba for read/write and execute.

you need to flash a phone to edit samba login permission. it should be in/etc/samba/smb.conf (may be I forgot it).

but about samba in phone sometime i can save a modified file. sometime I can't.
