Internationalization - keypad

Firstly - Sorry for my bad english...

It's 2 way to get own keypad: add keypad and change english keypad.

1. In /usr/language/inputmethods/*.kbd
has string: InputMethodType={637a8a14-af98-41da-969a-2bd16ecda800}
supposedly it code mean english keypad,
if find code for others (franch, german, italian, ... - near 8 keypads(as
judged by /usr/lib/ezx/lib/inputmethods/libezxkeyboard.so)) languages, then
may added new keypad.
This way likely, but.... I'm not found other code
If you find them please message me...

2. for change keypad you need replace two thing:
 - /usr/language/inputmethods/english_cn.kbd and
 - /usr/language/icon/iconres.ezx

Layout1-LayoutS - keymaps of keypad layouts. Key codes can be a simple symbol
(1 2 3 a b c / $ & # etc...) or hex code of UTF8 code page. If you want use
symbol which has no in ttf font, you need change *.ttf also. Else keypad was
printing square instead of symbol.
In attached InputW_KB_ENG.g.gif the red keys is reserved (make same special
functions) and they are not indicated in *.kbd.
For e680:
Layout1 - smal case symbols
Layout2 - big case symbols
Layout3,4 - not used
LayoutS - special symbols
For e680i (c5):
Layout1 - smal case symbols
Layout2 - big case symbols
Layout3 - big case symbols with CAPS
Layout4 - smal case symbols with CAPS
Layout5,6,78 - not used
LayoutS - special symbols
(for e680i we make 1,2-russian, 3,4-english layout and S-symbols layout - very
suitable)

2.2 iconres.ezx - this is a storage of all system icons including Input*.g.gif
(icons of keypad). Same of them you need change with help, for example,
Motoezx.pl (perl script that make iconres.ezx or *.mtf from *.gif)

Hi there.

Does anybody know what files (or filemodifications) are needed to get chinese input in an european phone? I have a europ A780 and can type the normal latin letters. I flashed already with ThreeSearchs "unicode"stuff, so that the phone is able to show unicode/chinese charakters.

Now i´m looking what to add to get in the keypad dropdownlist the possibility for a chinese input (additionally to the european).
