Bounty description:

- Bounty amount is now fixed. However, I keep the bounty open for any generous gentlemen who wish to raise the Bounty.
- Interested investors/bounty-providers can make replies to this topic, or contact me or Admin to raise the Bounty.
- All projects must be progammed and offered to MotorolaFans community free of charge under the GPL. Programmers cannot charge a fee on any project for which they have received a bounty.
- If more than one Developers are working on this, the Bounty will be awarded to the best completed project.
- Completed project should be submitted to me and Admin.
- Deadline for the project is one week after the first submission of a completed project. Deadline for the first submission is June 27, 2006.

Project Description:

EZX-SysEdit is supposedly an improvement of EditorE by Blackhawk or EZX-Edit by Intoxicated. In this application, the text/system-file editor will become part of the whole application. I would say, EZX-SysEdit should be a combination of a System Info application (which this phone lacks of), a System-file editor, and some System setup/configuration.

EZX-SysEdit provides a comprehensive information and features for E680i users, such as :

- Basic/General information (phone type, OS & kernel version, firmware version, processor version, IMEI number, etc.) with some additional features like Turn off phone, Restart phone, Turn on/off antenna.

- Sizes of system, Phone, and SD memory/storage (allocated, used, available - in KB and percentage).

- Status of USB-mode (modem, usblan, product-support, storage), and USB-mode switch feature.

- Themes (installed, preview, in use, name, size, install location, maximum safe size for new theme to be installed)

- Other useful information and features (Developer should figure out about this)

- System-file Editor (with predefined extensions like .txt, .cfg, .conf, .bak). Conversion from .doc to .txt would be a plus. Conversion from .txt to .doc would be a dream come true ... hehehe.

In other words, EZX-SysEdit summarises information available here and there in our phone, into one application, and add several useful features, with the system-file editor as the glorious feature.

EZX-SysEdit has to be easily installed and uninstalled using MPKG and/or NEO Installers into Phone as well as SD/MMC.

Is it possible to have this SysEdit access seem 0032_001 and make changes? That would be superb to have that much control over the phone. I would give more money for this feature to be added.
