Cannot see menus with IE 7, black text gray background bad

I can't see the menu buttons in IE 7. Also, I find the black text on a gray background hard to see.

Hm... now the theme looks much better

these damn css files are killing me. cant anyone make good descriptions of css attributes. arghh..
