    Default bandwidth problem

    Admin,

suggest that you move the download areas to another webserver, geocitites is free I think. This will solve the bandwidth problem we faced monthly.

As some of us dun download much and wish to check updates on forum will not face the bandwitdth limit problem.

    what do u think?

geocities have bandwidth limit too. and you'll have a hard time connecting sometimes, and you can't download as fast as in here..

their download speed is very slow..

and if i were to upload my stuff everywhere, i'll have a hard time linking them. if a server just closes, i'll have to repair it. gives me a whole lot of trouble for free bandwidth

yep contacted him but didin't hear from him. Maybe hes currently busy.

Actually mine is an unmetered bandwidth site, and on top of that, I know this guy doesn't have many clients, therefore my site will load faster than if it is on another server.

Another thing is, this site was supposed to be for some minor discussion, but it got rather big unintendly, which is fortunate, but I still can manage the cost.

Third thing, since it wasn't intended for such many members, I used a rather unsightly name for this site. www.motorolafans.com can only be surfed if there is an rcsc account on www.sisrs.com

So i'll be buying a domain soon. Maybe after I type this message
