yes i agree with you they always asked the same question without read the previous threads before... please make some warning attention for some useless threads
You know I'm already a little bit sick of these forums since guests can post and newcomers are bombing with stupid already answered questions. My suggestion is
1. deny posting for guests
2. do some 2week delay for registration confirmation letter so who's not interested won't come back. And others will try looking for answer in old threads during these days.
3. don't allow creating new threads for newcomers

i think the forum needs to be rearrange again...cause it is kind of messy now...
well, its true that all the liberty provided in these forums was with good intentions and intended to be more helpful but i think having such restrictions will be good and will help in re-organizationing and streamlining the forums.
i agree with suggestionslets C what Admin has to say.
btw, i'll include one more thing, using any language other than english shall be discouraged. no matter ho bad english is, it shall not be criticised. it will encourage every body to use english while posting and will help others understanding what is really said.
how about some sessions or a thread to figure out some documented rule book for forums?

Having rules are useless. Its only a guideline which can be used during flamings. It can be done tho, lets see in future.
A simple comment can just make the person speak english, but look, some people really doesn't speak english. I remember theres one thread they speak some other language on purpose tho. Maybe next time i'll just del the next person who doesn it xD
I can set it to registered people read only, but is it a very good idea? I remember setting this to visitors and registered members because someone suggested and many agreed. Lol
But i really prefer registered members only tho.
I think we just need better, more concise guides for newbies, and make the links to them easy to get to. When I first started with this phone, I spent entierly too much time getting up to speed because the information was scattered in so many places. I've started contributing to the wiki guides on wiki.openezx.org, but there's a lot of work to be done yet and I keep getting sidetracked on other projects...
Just my opinion.

Its all about moderating forum properly.
its moderators responsibility to keep the forums clean.
IMHO
a very old thread.
but very interesting in these days.
(spamers,newbees, same questions, same answers).

sorry for my bad englisch![]()
I understand what you mean, Right now i am working on organizing the forum in the A1200 section. I plan to make it easy for everyone to use, newbies and senior members alike. I have already changed the garage sale section in order to have it controlled. All other moderators should talk with their members and see what they need and whats good for them. Thats what i did, and now im making the changes the community feels is best for everyone.

the forums should be cleaned up, when I searched for apps in A1200 board i saw many topics with no reply posts, with questions that were answered. Moderators do almost nothing for the forums, like moving apps to the developed apps sections etc.
what about adding search bar at bottom of page like in IPB Board ?
