How about purging the forum from non-contributing/posting users?

It would save bw, reduce loading times and make the community more active. Also maybe add a general chat and move it up, so that it is maybe the first or 2nd forum.

On my forum, I used to delete all users who have joined for at least 5 days with a post count less than 1.

i agree, there are a lot of "help me!" posts that wouldn't exist if users were somehow forced to go through all the FAQ's and read all posts before they were allowed to post.

yes, i have some messages in my outgoing folder to zero posters, that was never read, like comments for the torrent for upgrading to e680i
