Default Linux (ROKR E6) WiFi SD App ( Current Bounty $40 USD)

I've been referred to motofans forum from howardforums by one of your well known and trusted colleagues who's also one of your admins - Alpha43 (not sure if he goes by same alias overhere) - I come in piece!

After much deliberation over one of the moto's newest gadgets ROKR E6 the only thing which I noticed is preventing lots of people from giving up their sweat and blood money currency for it is lack of WiFi on this great Linux phone. And the external SD WiFi cards people have been trying to use with this phone (at this point) do not work!!!

Due to being pre-exposed to a lot of raving about Linux (whether justified or not I have no clue) my presumption is that as long as you're developmentally inclined it's not that hard to write soft apps on it for all types of different hardware devices. In fact there was even a guy who was running Linux on his wristwatch somewhere in Russia (sorry can't find the link).

Anyhow, if any of you guys might be able to put together an app that will take care of the ROKR E6 WiFi SD computability issue, I'm certain that many Moto users would highly appreciate this and express their gratitude and recognition for the fruits of your labour by rich ravings and donations
for you and your truly's website.

Moto fans of the world unite!

not only the ROKR E6 users are waiting for this getting to work
if i remember the things correct, there exists a software/driver problem in the linux world with SD WiFi cards.
but i have read somewhere that the OLPC project is working on a solution.
so there is hope for the future!

update: found it:

4. Kernel: The wireless driver has gone through two rounds of reviews
with the upstream kernel networking folks and work continues to get it
into the Linux mainline kernel. Marcelo Tosatti also reports that we
are down to 5–6 interrupts per second (minus a really bad i8042
driver). This is compared with a ~200 per second in a standard Linux
desktop. This will have a huge positive effect on our battery life.

Moderators,

Can we have this moved to the bounty section, I'm putting up 20 bucks trying to kick off the development of this project.

Hope to see an app soon!
