Actually, this guildline is also applicable for E680 ( I did not test on A780 since no A780). In order to run Android on E680, you need all other patches except android_lcd_16bpp.patch and android-defconfig-nfs.patch. Meanwhile, you need to port defconfig change to defconfig-e680 (you can refer to android-defconfig-nfs.patch).
I tested on E680, LCD display is normal and touch screen can work. But seems that keypad does not work.

Currently, I'm focusing on making BP work. Just started to study from OpenEZX. Hope that guys who has ever brought up BP on A1200 with OpenEZX can give some infos.
If this task go smoothly, next milestone is to implement RIL(radio interface layer) library. Up to then, our A1200 will become Android based phone and make call.
Let's move it forward together!

As far as I know a780 should work with e680 kernel and modules seemlesly.
I'll try to compile my own kernel but i'd rather prefer to test yours.
Could you please share your compiled zImage and modules for e680?
If so, I'll make a try with gen_boot and rootfs on transflash on my a780.
Thanks again!
