Upgrade Motorola quench xt3/xt5 to android 2.2

Anyone know if it will be possible to flash it to Froyo? Planning to buy this phone only if it is.

I read that froyo is 2.5x faster

Official upgrade for Quench isnt there but you will need to root your phone and then you can install Android 2.2 or (2.3) on it.

Refer to this site http://www.cyanogenmod.com/ where you will find the FW as well as details for upgrading your firmware.
