upgrade BACKFLIP to 2.1

1. is their a way i can upgrade my backflip ( bought yesterday in delhi, india, without motoblur) to Android 2 or 2.1 ??

2. can the LED around the usb port be used to notify on messages or notifications ?

3. Can we tuen off the vibrations when the front soft keys are pressed ?

Well... I'm about to buy the phone.. only issue seems is the upgrade to 2.x as no official upgrade is available for international(non- US) phones...

Though there is some stuff about mods....but nothing's clear....
