cool, radio access network manager
don't have a a780 tho, ^^
People, I'm following this forum from 2 months and I read here and there that there where two kinds of A780: one coming from TW the second from HK, the first one without EDGE and the second one with etc......
I'm Radio Access Network Manager for OrangeCaraibe in French Guyana (south america) and I just put on service the 2,5G (EGPRS) here. My soft is R52_G_OD.43.A3P from TW and I CAN AFFIRM that it is working properly on EDGE.
Not further than this afternoon for a public demonstration I was working in full trafic with a speed between 100 and 130Kbits/s (16KBytes for american people), using my A780 as an USB modem.
That's why I'm asking if everybody really test their A780 on EDGE networks? there are certainly differencies between softwares but now I'm quit sure that all softs support EGPRS.

I've also noticed that my TW A780 gets much higher data throughput than the Ericsson T39m that it replaced for me. I attributed that to a faster CPU and a more efficient OS, though, not EDGE support. Anyone else confirm/deny "EDGE" actually functioning on a TW (bronze box) model A780?
Cheers,
Ken
my phone also is using R52_G_0D.43.A3P soft and it is hk version(silver box). i think that it is nonsense that this phone is in 2 versions. there is no official info about it. by the way my phone works in edge network.
