help... how to unlock my A780

good to all of you fellow A780 users,

i have been using my A780 for two years now and since my 24 month contract with a service provider is ending, I will be changing my phone already. i really loved this phone a lot and I want to give it to my brother to enjoy its features. Problem is, he is working abroad, I will be sending it to him but I do not know how to unlock it since it can only read the SIM card of my service provider.

your help will be deeply appreciated...

hope that motorola will realize to develop an upgraded phone for A780, retaining its form factor and that will definitely be a cool smartphone. A780 is a solid phone, i really like it compared to A1200.

any suggestions on how i can unlock my a780 so that it may recognize different sim cards? to fellow filipinos, my last option, do you know a shop in alabang which is good in unlocking cellphones? how much will it cost?
