Cannot charge Battery anymore!! Please HELP!

Hi guys,
2 days ago my A780 was switched on perfectly with a low battery level and I forgot to charge it. So the battery drained off completely and the phone switched off.
I connected the phone to laptop by USB cable as usual to charge it but nothing happened, then I connected the phone to wall charger and I see the phone switching on with a message "TAPI server disconnected" and all menus are disabled. Furthermore after 12 hours connected to wall charger the battery is not charged and the phone does not switch on!!

It seems a software problem....maybe because the phone has not been shutdowned correctly?? Is there any way to fix it?

I tried to charge by USB, car and wall charger, so it should not be a charger problem..

Any help would be appreciated!

PS: I don't have a second battery to test...

Something to try, and it worked for me, once.

Once you plug the phone into the wall outlet, try and turn the phone on.

I now have a spare (2 actually) batteries.

no, it does not switch on when connected to wall charger.
As soon as I connect the wall charger, the phone boots and show the desktop with a 01/01/1970 date, then I cannot access to menus....an battery is not charged.

how long have you charged with the wall charger?
this takes about 4 hours for a full charge.

it has been connected to charger for one night, about 10 hours...

Before the problem when I attached to wall charger there was a sound and some animation on screen, then after 3 hours the phone said "battery charge completed".

Now there is no sound, no animation and no charge!

This is real bad problem. I too faced the same problem.
I thought it is because of some mischief I did. So I too tried everything possible I could do to solve this but at the end I took to the redington shop but they could not solve it.
Then I took it to another guy who took 4k to solve this. He told that chip is gone and he needs to replace the chip.

The phone switched on but after couple of days I realized that the camera preview is totally garbled and even the handfree speaker's sound breaks.

I am not planning to pay anymore to anyone so I am living with it. In case, you know how to fix this problem kind let me know too.

I bought a new battery that is already charged.
As soon as I put it into A780 it switch on (without pressing power on button!) and behaves the same as when connected to wall charger (cannot power off, also).
Anyway I can now connect to my PC and USB mode is fully working but is not possible to switch to "Modem" mode through Motorola Phone Tools (maybe because "TAPI Server is disconnected").

The new battery is not charged by wall charger or USB cable...

Linloader is also working, so is there any script I can execute to test the system or restore or shutdown correctly the phone?

your power on button is defect.
you can try to clean or disassemble to solve the problem.

maybe, but why it is loading with "TAPI server disconnected", cannot use any menu, cannot do a call, etc??
Can bootloader help me?
