I'm New here, pls help!

I've just join this community, I've glance through the download and the forums, but here i got a lot of the things that i don't understand and confused.

I bought my Motorola A780 few days ago, really need to know more about this phone. I saw from the forums say that I can install some software/application or games in the phone, but I got no idea at all. (FYI, I know that this phone is running Linux platform and Java J2ME application. Am i right?)

Can you kindly tell me what can I do with my phone and how to install software/application or games to my phone? What's more I can do with this phone?

I'm a beginner for this phone and this community and I hope that this community will help me to know more or the fun of my phone.

to install new applications to the phone the first step is connecting the phone to your pc unless u wanna blue tooth it. so ! as a first step, install the software (mobile tools )that came with the device. go through the steps and hook up the usb cable from ur pc to phone when prompted.. once connected...then u can unplug it, go to setup --> usb mode and change it to usb mass storage. wait a bit and ur pc will detect it and open the file system of ur device.

once u get that, u can transfer files to the phone. Do till this step and then later someone can help u install it if u cant figure out..

In my opinion, if you had just got this phone "a few days ago", you should try and get the feel of it first, and "play" with the default applications, instead of rushing to get new applications for the phone. Try browsing throught the FAQ, Download section, and older posts in this forum will help a lot.
