The whole new kernel without crappy Motorola's modules is a good start point to have everything that we don't have now. AFAIK guys from OpenEZX turned on USB Host mode in PXA but they had some problem with pcap when they booted the phone from kernel downloaded through usb (it has some progress in OpenEZX status page).
