    Default Cookies Disabled

I Just Tried to logon this site from my phone and I got an error say that I need to enable cookies first. Of course, like every other program on this phone, the settings were pretty weak, and I saw nothing about enabling/disabling cookie settings. Any Ideas?

I've just send my phone to the Motorola service centre to fix this problem, the officer said that my phone might need to update the current software to the latest one... don't know yet, will update you after i get back the phone later. Hope this can be fixed.

As far as the email program goes, It has something to do with the way the phone uses the DNS Server. A Quick fix is to ping your POP3 Address (i.e. "wap.gmail.com") on your home computer and put the direct IP in as the server name.

I WOULD KILL to get the updated software/firmware for this phone! Unfortunatly, I live in the US and I'm not one of the many who have a friend that is MotoTech.

I have the Taiwanese Version (w/out EDGE Enabled) and I feel like this is the only Motorola phone that doesn't have any updates on the Internet!

If anyone has any information how I can do this without sending my phone to Asia, it would be greatly appreciated.

Is your Data Network setup properly?
    Can you visit other webpages?
    If so,
Just go to the command line of your home computer (any OS) and ping the domain name of your email server.
    For instance:
    $ping mail.yahoo.com
Will return the IP Address of that domain.
Now, go to your email client setup on your phone and place that IP Address as the Server for your send and receive setup. It should work right away. Receiving mail works fine, but i have had some trouble sending it. Which is fine for me because i'm not in a big hurry to write email on the phone anyway.

They have newer versions of the fiirmware out, I've seen people talking about it. I am currently running R52_G_0D.44.A2P and I have heard of people with R52_G_0D.50.A2P or something. I wish this phone wasn't so much trouble to get it to work, but at least i'm learning a lot.

    Hi Guys,

I think its a problem with the earlier versions of the opera. I have just been able to access the Gmail account via Opera. Do you have an option which asks if you can "delete cookies"? I can find anything which allows you to choose to accept them, so I assume that the default is to accept cookies. I will try the Gmail pop account and let you know how it goes

I'm using the lastest american firmware - suggest upgrading, just to get a decent version of Opera.

I have this same problem, and I have build 1229 of opera, and firmware
    R52_G_0D.74.A2R
    BP:R52_G_0D.C0.B1P
    BPFlex:
    SE6822AD3B1025
    DSP:62373700
Picking the option to delete the cookies seems to not help.
I had this working on a a780 from china, but have since got a euopean version with gps because the motosync is included in that model. (which I use).
anyone have any pointers for me?
