Thread: Task Manager

  1. #1

    Default Task Manager

Task Manager - System Memory Status is always 50% without any application open, which increases when any new application is opened and the mobile goes slow.
Any possibility to reduce that default utilisation ?

if you are not seeing any application in taskmanager means nothing.
if you have a look at the processes started and running with EZXSysEdit:
    http://www.motorolafans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=4371
you can see what there realy is.

Go to dial pad and type "WWW008W" where W = Wait. Insert wait using the menu at bottom right hand corner.
    found in the FAQ:
    http://www.motorolafans.com/componen.../index.php/FAQ

but this will not help you.
restart your mobile and have a look at the taskmanager.
how much % is your System Memory Status?
how is your mobile reacting now?

    Thanks. My firmware is:

    R52_G_0D.50.AEP
    BP:R52_G_0D.39.B1P
    BPFlex:GCOA780000SA061
    DSP:62252500
    Technology:Quad-Band GSM

The Task Manager shows 52% and no application.
And after i restart my mobile, the task manager shows 51%

    But still very slow.

do u use, ezxphoneassist? I dont use it, but I was going thru the source of that app some days back, and was surprised the way it was implemented.

From my analysis of the source, it would continuously use CPU looking for an incoming call, and also will not show up in the default task manager.

I would recommend not to use that app, it will drain your battery like anything, by using CPU.

If required, I can write a similar app, which does not use CPU continuously, but only when a call comes up (like my gerald_vibe app).

    Default Please Please

    Hi Naveen,

You always been a good developer for A780/E680i. I always appriciate your work. I use you applications on my A780.

Please develop application like phoneassit that would not comsume CPU all time. This application is must for all of us.

Atleast i badly need this since i am fedup with Banks call asking for personal loans and credit cards offers.

Try to include one more thing, if possible: the blocked call should be disconnected immidiately not after one or two rings. Means caller should not hear rings when making call on blocked no.
