Help with firmware and appz for a780

Hello, I only want to know witch firmware and appz are the ones for take the maximum advantage of the a780, I also have the E680 phone and there is in the forum a really complete post, for the cell, I allready know how to flash the phone and to install some apps, but Im not shure witch firmware to use.. can anyone can help me?

for the latest firmware you can have a look at the sticky
i have no experience with flashing, so i can´t tell you what the improvements are.
what firmware do you have?
can you point me to the "really complete post"?
i will have a look at it, to improve the documents for A780.

well I have allmost all the files, I want to use the ThreeSearch_A780_R52_G_0D.76_unicode_startup_acmattach_bash2_backupnative_neo_leomsg_ezxdialog_switchfont_2.0 but reading in the other post I found that first I have to flashit with the 51 AHP, I all ready did that, but I cant find the 61 (transition), all the links are dead.. that the only one that I can't find, not even in the vllp.sourceforge.net page... where can I download this file?

tnx swifty, and finally I flash the phone to: R52_G_0D.74.A2R_0D.C0.B1P_SE6820AD3F1_L003_S008_P004_GCOA780000E1025_full but the sign on my phone turned from G to E can anyone tell me why?

do you mean the GPRS sign.
does it change from Gprs to Edge.

tnx again, but, witch is the diference betwen the G and the Edge? the edge mode its supported in mexico? Im not shure to undestand, mmh Im going to be extra charge for this service? How ist works?

EDGE is faster than GPRS.
if it is supported in Mexico, i don´t know. also extra charges, i don´t know.
this depends on your provider.
