Problem with .jar files

Hello every one, iam having a big problem. Iam frm india and have been using a motorola A780 for only 3 days. I have tried to install .jar files onto my phone. When i tap on the .jar file, itpromts me to install the file, well the application is installing and i could see an icon of the application on my main menu, but when tap on the icon, it jst shows nothing, jst a sand timer comes for a few seconds but then nothing happens. I even tapped the starup.lin file as i learnt from these forums but to no avail. Plz help me

so, jou've successfully installed the NEO packages installer, and therefore you have also linloader up and running, isn't it?

Yup!!! Well i have also installed the software eplayer7. and i have also got an aditonal icon on my main menu list. But when i tap on it, it shows an error that it will work only on selected models, and so on. As I told you that i first tapped on startup.lin also then i opened the application but then alszo nothing happened. PLZZZ help me PLzzz.
