Camera Quality A780 vs Razr v3i

As far as i know Razr V3i has 1.23MP camera and A780 has 1.3 MP camera
but still A 780 pictures quality is lower than v3i

What is the reason behind this ?
do we have any camera updates or patches available for A780 ?
V3i has more Environment features in the camera can we add them to A780 ?
