No Smilies in SMS

Is there any way to display smilies in SMS ?

just press the %#+ key at the keyboard,there you get a list of symbols

then you enter the smiley

only problem is that the editor thinks : is a : and always deletes the space, you will see

knorki you misunderstood the question. justafan was asking if smileys can be displayed as graphic emoticons.
