A780 Audio

How is the audio on the a780? I use to have a sony p900, and the sound was amazing. Better than many mp3 players. Now I have a nokia 9300, and the sound is mediocre. Maybe its because of cheap proprietary nokia headphones. Is the a780 any good as a music player?

Well, if you are used to listening to music by headsets you will find that A780's sound, even at the highest level, could be a little bit low; this is because of the 2,5 mm. jack. If you want to listen to music by the speakers, although the sound could also be low when being in a crowded place, you can simply change volume by telnet (However, it's possible that it won't sound very good if you increase the level a lot).

Mine sounds great! When using MP3 to Ringtone Gold, I must make sure I don't scale the volume beyond level 2 or the sound will be too loud and crackle. The downside is video files still sounds too soft.
