Are you doing it with linloader? Maybe no permission?
Try to telnet into A780 and copy the files or use ekonsole.
Hey, I'm trying to copy the OS files to the memory card, I have written the following script and ran it, but nothing has happened:
I've even created the folder but nothing happens when I run the script?Code:#!/bin/bash cp -r /ezxlocal/* /mmc/mmca1/ezxlocal
Is there a way to view the result of the script, like errors and such?
Thankyou

In any apple is a worm. Through each window flies a bug.
That's why I take Linux, because what does not fly can not crash.
I can't telnet into my phone because I'm using windows 7 and the drivers don't work :'(
I'll look up ekonsole![]()
It came as a .mpkg file, I tried installing it but nothing happens :S
for your script try to export before copy.
If this is not working tryCode:export USER=ezx
Code:. /home/native/.profileDo you have bluetooth?Originally Posted by SamstaUK

I have bluetooth, and actually I would prefer to use telnet via bluetooth, do you have any links on how to set it up that way?
Thanks alot for those other links!![]()
Okay I got the driver to install, I ran the acmattach.lin script after it connected to my computer, but when I telnet to 169.254.142.2 nothing happens
And is ekonsole the best console app for a780 or is there a better one?
Thanks

eKonsole is the best for me.

motorola_main_page - Mobile Linux Development Community
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; i686 Linux; en_US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4
