Re: SyncML OTA Setup on a german A780
from what I readed the A780 insists to send all the info throught GPRS no matter how you set the config up.
To solve this, you have to use the Mack connectivity pack, wich will force to switch data transfer from GPRS to Bluetooth. I'm not sure wether the USB is possible, altought I thing it should be, but the Mack pack comes with a script that only refers only to BT, and I dont figure how to moka another one to do the same trough USB.
So, you should configure a new data connection with IP addreses equal to the ppp link you make with leoppp (I just tried therefore ppp through BT...), stablish the ppp link, activate the Mack GPRS troght BT, and sync.
From what I readed, to sync with kontact you should star a GNOME session and sync with multisync, which has syncml support, but I dont use GNOME....so I cant try.
KDE 4 will have the opensync sync engine same has GNOME's multisync...but since there I can only use the java SyncML funambol program to sync, but really really ugly.
Gelobt sei was Hart macht...
