Default Water damage..

Shit shit shit shit =)

My phone took a visit down in the toilet the other day.. Now it does not work ofcourse.. but if someone have experienced water damage to your phone, please tell me if your phone ever got to work again..

Maybe i should take the phone fully apart, and dry it.. ?

Don't mix mobilephones, toilets and alcohol

OH.........that mix sucks...
To my mind No Phone simultaneously supports water and alcohol!!!!
That is the worst mixed !!!!
My phone can fly and crash safely but definitely can not swin or dive!!!

from my experience the best results i have gotten is this. once it get's wet and does not work any more, tear it down as much as you are comfortable with. get some distilled water and submerge the phone in it. yup you heard me correct get it wet again. gently agitate the water to get any gooky stuff out, then remove the phone. put the phone on comething clean and let dry completely, and i mean completely. sometimes this takes up to a week or longer. dont use a hair dryer, i've not had good luck.

using this method i have recovered several digital cameras, a few cel phones and a laptop. it does take time but often you can recover electronics that you once thought were gone. BTW the laptop took a little over 1 month to dry completely.

First thing you should remember is: remove battery out as soon as possible. Then disassemble the phone, make it dry under the light bulb (not the neon and other cold light emitting)
