    Hi,

    which windows OS do you have?

    Have you tried to play with the mtu?

    System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\
    Interfaces\[Adapter ID]]
    Value Name: MTU
    Data Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)
    Value Data: Default = 0xffffffff

    If this dont work use the Belcarra driver.

    Connect in modem mode and remove hardware.
    Connect in usblan mode and remove hardware.
    Install Belcarra driver and check again.

    Good luck

    I cant install belcarra drivers because windows want to install motousbsync.sys
    and this archive is in official motorola drivers...
    MTU doesnt appear in regedit...

    And the E6 way... doesnt work either =(
    Ok thanks anyway.
    Another question, my PlugCardDB overwrite all programs when i install a new one. I need to add all the text to a backup and upload to phone to make programs work... any suggestion?

    telnet problem:
    1. try ssh.
    2. use a real operating system on your computer, not a graphic adventure

    PlugCardDB:
    installing Java?
    which firmware?
    have you enabled mpkg, LinLoader?

    Try to telnet over a bluetooth ppp connection. Search for leoppp.
    It works like a charm and you dont need any Motorola or Belcarra driver.

    Default telnet over BT with ishare

    Ok i will post a nice program with this prog i did these things:

    Telnet over PPP USB (Linux/Windows)
    Telnet over PPP BT (Linux/Windows)
    Internet sharing USB (Linux/Windows)
    Internet sharing BT (Linux/Windows)

    I want to make a new thread for this but i am still translating my manual (How to configure Linux and Windows for ishare).

    It is not my whole work so thanks to:

    "Mack" for his connectivity pack
    "Leopardus II" for leoppp
    "zyp_2000" for similar pack in asia
    "Pnail" for a nice hint in his post

    So here only for you is a prerelease and short steps what you need to do for telnet over BT.

    required:

    Linloader
    acmattach.lin or flexbit for USB-Lan

    Installation:

    If the MackConnectivity pack is installed plz deinstall it first, because ishare will install in:
    /diska/.system/QTDownLoad/mack

    Ishare needs to be installed on diska !!

    Remove .zip from attachment.

    Windows configuration for BT:

    I am lazy so i copied a part from
    Chris Ma 2006/09/23 E680i manual and change some steps so there could be some (translating) mistakes because i dont own a english windows

    a) setup bluetooth binding with PC <-> phone

    -> Start
    -> Control Panel
    -> Bluetooth Device
    -> Choose "Device" Tab -> New -> Check the box "My Device is ready and searchable"
    -> Click "Next" button <<<Before clicking the "Next" button, you should enable your mobile's bluetooth function and enable the "Discoverable" property.>>>
    -> Select yours Phone. (e.g. A780..etc) -> click "Next"
    -> Choose the second option and input the key as "1" -> Next -> input "1" in phone and press "OK" in A780 phone -> Then the PC will detect some hardware...
    -> mark down the out going com port number and click "Finish"

    b) create "null modem"

    -> Start -> Control Panel -> Add new hardware -> next
    -> Select "Yes, I have connected the hardware" -> next
    -> scroll to the bottom and click "Add a new hardware device" -> next
    -> select "Install the hardware which I have choosen from the list (Advance Option)" -> next
    -> select "modems" -> next
    -> Don't detect modem and choose it by yourself -> next
    -> "standard modem" -> Communication cable between two computer -> set com port from BT serial port (step a)

    c) create new network connection.

    -> advanced connection on the buttom
    -> next -> direct connection with other computer -> guest
    -> Name for the connection A780BT
    -> Device is from step b: Communication cable between two computer (COMx)

    Preferences from new network connection:

    Options->Dial options:deselect Name password ...
    Network->TCP/IP-> Preferences -> Advanced-> "Default gateway for the remote network" deselect

    Steps to connect:

    - connect BT serial port

    - accept spp connection

    - run ishare: Start, Bluetooth, PPP-BT.

    - run network connection A780BT from step c

    - telnet 192.168.1.4

    When you are finished with your telnet session start ishare again and press stop.

    I will put the whole ishare package with all routing scripts for windows and linux and a full manual for all functions in a new thread. We will see when .

    For people who can read german i have a tutorial here:
    Ishare german

    The german version is only at v1.0 but i will update it soon.
