A780 Keypad does not work. How to swap buttons?

hi ppl.

How are u doing? After 3 yrs, my a780 has a problem. The Keypad no longer works. So, im unable to used use the Call and call end buttons ( or any other buttons for that matter).

I can only receive calls from the touch screen, but by doing this ear piece does not work. Once i pick the call and close the flip the call ends.
So, I need to open the flip and then receive the call and switchover to speaker phone mode to talk which is embarassing.

So I have 2 options/questions to workaround this:
1. How can swap the VR botton and call recieve button function? is it possible?
2. How can i close the flip without disconnecting the call?

BTW other options are:
1. When in call, connect an handfree and close the flip. The call wont be dropped.
2. Use an bluetooth earpiece or wired handsfree to recieve the call.

long time no see
looks like a broken flex cable to me.
there is something in A780 forum about this, mostly todo with a not working GPS.

there is an option in the call menu "flip answer"

Flip answer is unchecked..regardless of it is checked or not the call ends if I close the flip.

yes indeed the internal cable is gone. I will check the one u have mentioned.
