"failed to register with the network" error

I flashed the phone but out of battery, the flash was failed. After that, I recharged and successful flashing with Asian firmware R52_G_0D.50.AHP_0D.41.B1P
However, now I can search for the network but cannot register, "failed to register with the network" error. Is this the firmware problem or hardware problem?
I use BASE network in Belgium.

i suppose you checked first if your SIM card works in another mobile.

can you "Add to Preffered"?

flash with another firmware.

2. flash to .74 or .76 european

1. I can search and add network to "preferred network", but cannot register.
2. Actually, my phone is an Asian version. I tried to test the European once before but it couldn't install .JAR file so i quited and backed to Asian version.
3. Tonight, I will try to flash with European again, will report soon.

yes, you are right, swifty. it's because the SIM is damaged. i don't know if it can damage if you flash too many times?

These days, I tried some solutions to recover the phone but I realized that my phone was DEAD. Now I just can use my phone as an PDA but not a phone anymore.
Anyone has the same problem after 3 years using A780? Is it time to replace it?
