I think you misunderstood mightymop. The question here as I see it is whether the maps from the Pocket PC version of Copilot can be used with the phoneOriginally Posted by mightymop
Copilot live 5 for PPC also includes US Maps, also it would be quite interesting to know whether the maps are compatible with the linux version running in our A780.
The version in A780 is smthg like 1.0.XX but the interface is the same as Copilot live 5 for ppc.
@Rikk: France is included in the German version of A780
hm.. ok then is was my mistakeOriginally Posted by magnum77

I just tried to add the Copilot 5 PPC maps in the A780. It doesn't work.Originally Posted by Rikk

Hi. I am from Ukraine. I don't now how to put (where take) maps of my country to phone. But problem is not in that. I don't know in what format thisis maps. Is something editor (developer pack) for this maps format (copilots) are present? maybe some prog can export maps to this format? MS Autoroad for example?
P.S. sorry for my vary bad English...![]()
I talked to the makers of CoPilot. I didnt get much technical info, but they said that they will be able to provide US maps on translfash cards Q1 2006. Tech support was very good. give them a call and see what you can dig up.
