Default Multisync plugin for Evolution 2

    Hi all,

I just set up multisync on my Ubuntu 7.10 and it works flawlessly so far with the Backup-plugin as destination.

When I tried to build the plugin for Evolution 2.10, I got the message that the packages "evolution-addressbook" and "evolution-calendar" (i.e. the package config files "evolution-addressbook.pc" and "evolution-calendar.pc") are missing.

I installed the development package (evolution-dev) which normally remedies for such errors.
Unfortunately the structure seems to have changed - these files are still not there. All forum entries I found on the problem are talking about version 1.x of Evo (and telling to install the dev-package, which I already did anyway)

I found one blog entry where the guy says that it took him one day to get rid of this error on Evo 2.x, but he forgot how he did it...

Has anyone successfully built the plugin for Evo 2.x so far? Any pointers to the change in structure in Evo that could lead me to modify the make process to get this to compile?

It's the first time I'm using Evolution, but perhaps someone ran into similar issues when upgrading from Evo 1.x to 2.x.

    Thanks!

    Default Evolution2 Plugin

    Hi,

you need for evolution2 the latest snapshot of multisync.

    http://www.multisync.org/files/multi...napshot.tar.gz

Furthermore you need a new patch for the syncml_plugin. I will attached it.

To compile the evolution2 plugin from the snapshot you need some more packages:

    - evolution-data-server-dev
    - libedataserver1.2-dev
    - libedata-book1.2-dev
    - libedata-cal1.2-dev
