How to MASTER RESET my A780?

I've never wanted to post this thread, but after a week of searching and reading the methods on this forum, I decided to post it .

Some days ago, I was searching on the net how to master reset my A780 and came to this website, and I even asked a couple of questions, but when I later found out that the thread was not a A780 one, I'll post it up here.

My problem was that I can't MASTER RESET my A780 using the default password 000000. I'm sure some guys out here have encountered this strange problem too.

Some very kind and helpful members on this forum suggested me to flash the phone using eKonsole, but in order to run this eKonsole, one must have LinLoader and MPKG installer installed.

I've searched all over the net and even downloaded many versions of LinLoader and MPKG during the last few days, and installed it according to the instruction here, http://www.mototheme.com/Howto.htm but in the end, NO LUCK. I wasn't able to do anything. NOTHING happened to my phone at all.

My aim is just to simply MASTER RESET and MASTER CLEAR my phone......nothing too special. And I don't see the need (and don't want to waste) of paying USD 80 to that repairman just to reset my phone as I know there are some good tricks on the net (This is why I'm here)

Sigh....I'm a newbie......

PS: I don't have an SD card. Wanna know if this is necessary when flashing the phone?

And.....my cell is a China Mobile one.
