A780 uper menu locked and not charging

this phone making me crazzy.
prob: uper menu locked

1. flashed with
R52_G_0D.76.A1R_0D.C0.B1P_SE6820AD3F1_L001_S010_P004_GCOA780000E1027_full.shx

result: always gives error on middle of flashing.

2. flashed with
A780_R52_G_0D.74.A2R_0D.C0.B1P_T674KF_L005_S002_P001_GSOA780T674KF064_full

result: flash complete succesfully but still the same problem

it happens like A1200 wrong flashing. anybody can help me????

Don't know how to help you, `cause I'm having the
same problem with my A780.

Just started yesterday.
Reports time as 16:00 and date as 31 Dec 1969.
Reports error "TAPI server is disconnected"
Icons across the top do not work. Battery reporting also
messed up.

It occasionally will start up ok without the SIM in
place and then reports the time as 16:00 and date as
31 Dec 1999. The icons across the top work.

From looking at the various forum postings that refer to
the "TAPI server" error, it seems like it might be a hardware problem.
Most likely a button that is stuck or some other contact.
When I disassemble the phone, it will almost always start up ok.

Ok, I took the phone apart again. When it is disassembled, it seems to
work ok.
I cleaned switches/contacts as best I could. It was still flakey when I
put it back together. I noticed that the back of the screen was scraping
against the back of the main circuit board -- I put electrical tape over the
spots where it was scraping and then put the phone back together once more. After that the phone worked fine, except that the signal strength is
low. Occasionally, (1 out of 10 times) when turning the phone on/off it
will start up with the odd dates and locked upper icons (and tapi server error).
