Memory Full

Dear Motolovers,

sometime when i change my current profile to other, the phone display error message "Memory Full" and back to the current profile .... ,

anyone had the same problem, how can i fix this ?

Which handset are you using?

check the memory status, if it is full then try to uninstall few applications.

i used A780 , but i dunno bout the firmware, how can we check our firmware ?


Phone memory only 23% used,
and TF memory only 50% ....

the problem occur only in occational time ... i mean not always happened

I'm getting this same problem with A780.
It happened after I sync'd it with an updated MPTools that doesn't seem to be compatible and it doubled and tripled up about half of my contacts.
I've been through and deleted all that I can find, but it still errors.
Which file holds the contacts? I'd like to try and rename it to see if it cures the problem.

Thanks, that was swift Swifty, my problem now is that I can't move the file.
I can't do it with qconsole and I can't switch to modem mode to use telnet.
Is there a file I can modify to switch to modem mode?
Or is that under ezxlocal too?

this script makes a copy of some things including native.db to your mmc.

Thanks again. I've now backed it all up.
My problem is ezxlocal and root etc being 100% full.
The native.db is nearly 3Mb.
I've now deleted all my contacts, but the native.db remains the same size.
The phone will not switch to modem mode.
What will a master reset do?

Master reset will not help, master clear is the way to go.

Master clear done. Phone cleared. Lots of reconfig work coming up
