Need Firmware

Does anyone have an unbranded firmware that will load -- I was running a .74 on a 780 w/no gps but I tried to install the .76 from this site and it failed. Now the only firmware that I can get to load is the china mobile branded firmware from the Vietnamese localization sourceforge site. I just would like to at least go back to the unbranded .74 version that I had before. I only tried to upgrade it because I was having strange issues --

I'm a noob and trying to figure out how to flash my a780.

Gotta question for you as it seems you did flash your phone already:

can I just load the file into "P2K Product Support Tool 7.2.3.general" program and simply flash my phone with the "R52_G_0D.74.A2R_0D.C0.B1P_SE6822AD3B1_L001_S011_P004_SE6822AD3B1025_full.shx" file?

I still need the Hong Kong Unbranded firmware. The link someone provided above is the China Mobile Branded Firmware -- I am looking for "UNBRANDED"

Yes the PST does flash the phone.

OK so No one appears to have a copy of the original firmware that was on my A780 so I went ahead and tried to load .76 -- It only get's to 94% then fails. The only firmware I can get to install is the .74 version from China Mobile. So I have the red splash screen and China Mobile branded apps. Does ANYONE have an Un-Branded firmware that wil load on my non-GPS A780 ?

I went back to the .74 version from the post up above but with al the china red stuff but I don't get Edge anymore "E" only a "G" gets displayed. Any ideas ?

OK no one can help ? I can't get the new .76 firmware to flash past 94% - It boots fine but web browser stuff is broken and no Edge. So I try to use unbranded .74 and I can't get it to load past 93% same problem with the web browser stuff ie bookmarks and "go to"


Does anybody have the Unbranded Hong Kong firmware ????
