A780 system disk?? And a few questions.

I just recived my A780 a few days ago and I am very happy to see a forum with so much info on it!!!

1. I was just wondering what is on the A780 disk that I see listed with other phones? My phone only came with the moto phone tools. Is there something on it I need and how can I get a copy of it?

2. How can I tell what region it was intended for? It came in a silver box with a manual in english.

3. Is there a fix for the battery indicator going to 0 thjen back to 3 bars if I restart it? Do any of the firmware flashes fix this?

4. My fimrware is R52_G_0D.50.AEP Does this need updated?

I am using the phone in the USA.

First things first

The A780 Cd isn't all that important nothing special on it....

it contains, USB Driver Files & RealPlayer.



And most likely a china distribution, since that's where mine is from.

The battery indicator issue ur experiencing has no fix currenly unless the new firmware version for the a780 addresses that problem.

the newest version of firmware is

(R52_G_0D.74.A2R_0D.C0.B1P)

in order for you to reflash ur phone to this update you must first up date to

the following firmware version:

R52_G_0D.61.A1R

then you can update to the newest version of firmware...

Open digit dial, type WWW008W , then you see what FW you have..
