How To: Enable hidden functions using optimized flex.

Well that optimized_setup.shx thing does a slightly bad thing to the european version of the a780. It made it so the motosync option was suddenly gone from the phone.. which is bad because I sync to my exchange server over the air using that feature... I had to flash back again to regain the option.. I would sure like to know how to apply the options in the optimized shx file without disabling the motosync.. But I thought I would mention the warning other than the missing option it did enable all sorts of other things so it would be nice to get them to all work together.

anyone have an answer for this?...i NEED motosync this is the only thing stopping me flashing my phone

Ask yourself this, do you really need to enable the hidden functions using this flex? How will you benefit from flashing this flex file?

primarily i need MKPG support but there (as you are aware) are other aspects of the optimised flex which make it desirable.

i have already asked myself if i need to enable hidden functions, this prompted me to ask the above question. do you have anything to add on if this is easily achieved

Hello!

Could somebody explain how the SIP function works? I have setup Bluetooth for internet connection and would now like to talk over that connection.

What program does the call receiver need on his/her PC? Is it possible to call people who use Skype?

Please explain it a bit, since SIP is something I first heared here at this post.

Hi Experts!!

After installing this flash on my A780 Apac, through multiflash flex, I am getting "system memory full error". I got this error after a day. I have tried master reset and the problem persits
I telnet'ed to phone and I saw "df" shows 100% for
root file system /
/usr/setup
/usr/language
/ram/tmp/real1java

/dev/root
/dev/tffsa
/dev/rpflash2
/dev/mtdblock2




I have used 50% of transflash and 50% of phone inbuilt diskspace

Is this a known issue?. If so how to fix this. Is there a memory leak with this flash. The phone hangs after a day or two.

you should re-flash your phone with another firmware.
